A member of the association requested that links to how to become educated and submit comment on this issue be posted on the MARA site.

Environmental quality is part of MARA's mission. I invite all members to post similarly. Posts on issues not related to road associations, the environment, or any part of the MARA mission are not suited for he MARA discussion forum!

Or you can comment on the NRCM website.  They say that the DOI site isn't reliable.  They are gathering comments to send as a batch to the DOI.

Just to provide an alternative view, I feel that MARA should stick to Road Association issues and matters. We all know there are plenty to deal with particularly, in my opinion, the payment and collection of maintenance fees being the central issue and most nagging problem for many road associations.

I believe the closest that MARA should get to "political matters" is the tracking and redirecting of legislative bills that threaten the operation of road associations. That in itself requires a significant effort on the part of MARA's facilitator and its most enthusiastic supporters.

    Thank you, Peter Dunn
