Are we required to post a speed limit sign on our 1.5 mile road?
It's your road. Post -- or don't post -- whatever you please.
Thank you for your reply. I also have a follow-up question. What if someone was speeding down the road and got into an accident. Could the Road Association officers be held liable if no speed limit sign is posted on the road?
I wouldn't think so. State law sets default speed limits which apply if roads are not otherwise posted.
