We have just voted to become a statutory road assn. Is it necessary to notify the state, and if so, whom do we send notice.

No, there is no one to notify.  A simple statutory road association doesn't have to file or record anything with anybody.

If you ever decided to also incorporate, you'd have to file paperwork with the Secretary of State, but that's another topic.

The Road that we are forming an association for branches into two roadways & a third one.  Each of these roads are named .  All of us use .25 miles of the road before it branches.  The road serves 35 parcels..  When I request a warrant for the 1st meeting from a notary do I need signatures from 3 owners   from each of the branches or just 3 from any of the branches.  The  road maintenance is planned for each of the branches .Please inform as soon as possible.  Sorry--This is supposed to be in the message section --not reply

So this association would include all 35 parcels?  You should only need the signatures of any three parcel owners, regardless of their location.  On the other hand, it might be politically wise to obtain signatures from a representative selection of owners.
